San Jose Mine, Mexico The 100% owned San Jose mine, a low-cost underground operation producing a silver-gold concentrate, was declared in commercial production on September 1, 2011 at a rate of 1,000tpd. Expansion to 1,500tpd design capacity is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2013 at which point, San Jose will produce at a rate of 5 million Ag Eq ounces annually at an average life of mine cash cost of US$7.40 per Ag Eq ounce. Brownfields exploration activities are underway in the 58,000 hectare land package.
Caylloma Mine, Peru The 100% owned Caylloma mine is a low-cost, underground operation producing silver-lead and zinc concentrates. Caylloma currently operates at a rate of over 1,250tpd with production sourced from the Animas, Bateas and Soledad veins. Brownfields exploration activities are underway in the 16,000 hectare land package to test for high grade silver targets.
