Jorge A. Ganoza, Geological Engineer

President, CEO and Director

Jorge A. Ganoza is a geological engineer with over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration, mining and business development throughout Latin America. He is a graduate from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Jorge is a fourth generation miner from a Peruvian family that has owned and operated underground gold, silver and polymetallic mines in Peru and Panama. Before co-founding Fortuna back in 2004 he was involved in business development at senior levels for several private and public Canadian junior mining companies working in Central and South America. Jorge also serves as Chairman of the Board of Atico Mining Corporation.

Luis Dario Ganoza, B. Sc. Engineering, MBA, M. Sc.

Chief Financial Officer / Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Luis D. Ganoza has 14 years of experience in the operation and
financial management of mining companies. He has held the position of CFO
at Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. since 2006 and previously held the positions
of Controller and Treasurer for one of Peru's largest public mining
companies. Luis has a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the Universidad
Nacional de Ingenieria in Peru, and an M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from
The London School of Economics. Luis also serves as a Director of Atico
Mining Corporation, a TSX.V listed company.

Manuel Ruiz-Conejo, B. Sc. Engineering

Vice President of Operations

Mr. Manuel Ruiz-Conejo is a mining engineer graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Lima, Peru. He has more than 25 years in the mining industry and has worked for the most prolific polymetallic mines and mine contractors in Peru. As an engineer, he participated in the implementation and execution of critical projects. As an executive, Manuel devised and supervised the execution of several multimillion dollar mining projects. In 2005, he became Chief Operating Manager of Minera Atacocha. Manuel also holds an Executive Management Program from the Universidad de Piura in Peru. Amongst his different areas of expertise, he has vast experience in community relations.

Jose Pacora, B.Sc Engineering

Vice President of Project Development

Mr. Jose Pacora is a mechanical engineer graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Lima, Peru. He has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry working for both, engineering firms and mining companies developing strong capabilities in engineering, construction and project management. Jose joined Fortuna as Corporate Project Manager in 2012. Previously he held the position of Project Manager at Pan American Silver for Peru and Bolivia managing plant and mine expansions and improvements. Jose also held the position of Engineering Manager at Kilborn Peru, subsidiary of Kilborn-SNC Lavalin, where he was in charge of expansion and new mine projects. Additionally, he also worked at Kilborn Engineering in Denver, Colorado for the engineering and construction of the Yanacocha mine expansion project in Peru.

David Volkert, B.Sc. Geological Engineering

Vice President of Exploration

Mr. Volkert is a mine finder with a long, successful career in the mining industry and has held various senior positions, including Exploration Manager and Chief Geologist for Barrick Gold Corporation where he was instrumental in the discovery of the Laguna Norte gold deposit and the acquisition of the Pierina gold deposit in Peru. As Vice President, Exploration for Bear Creek Mining Corp., David spearheaded the discovery of the Corani and Santa Ana silver-lead-zinc deposits in Peru. A successful mineral exploration geologist with 38 years international experience (USA, West Africa, Peru, Ecuador, Turkey, Mexico and Canada) in the technical, managerial and business aspects of mineral exploration programs, he holds a B.Sc. Geological Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. David is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists, the American Institute of Professional Geologists (CPG) and the Association of
Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (P. Geo.).

Eric Chapman, B. Sc. Geology, M.Sc. Mining Geology

Vice President of Technical Services

Mr. Eric Chapman is a resource geologist with 15 years' experience in the mining industry who has provided technical guidance to Fortuna since 2011. Prior to joining the company, he was a Senior Consultant to Snowden Mining Industry Consultants working on a variety of mine and exploration projects in Africa and the Americas. Eric has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Southampton in the UK, and an M.Sc. in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines. He is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, being a Chartered Geologist (C.Geol) of the Geological Society of London and a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
